Phase Checklists
How to use phase checklists to ensure nothing is missed during each construction phase.
What Are Phase Checklists?
Phase checklists are quality control tools that help you verify critical items at each stage of construction. They're based on industry standards and common inspection requirements.
How to Use Them
1. Navigate to the **QC Checklists** page from the navigation menu
2. Select the trade or phase you want to review
3. Work through each checklist item, marking items as complete
4. Add photos as documentation where required
Pre-Work vs. Post-Work Checklists
- **Pre-Work** — Items to verify BEFORE a trade starts work (materials delivered, site ready, permits posted)
- **Post-Work** — Items to verify AFTER work is complete and before you pay (quality, code compliance, cleanup)
> TIP: Take photos of completed checklist items. These photos are valuable documentation for your bank draw packets and for resolving any disputes later.
What Happens Next
Once all checklist items for a phase are complete, you're ready to request an inspection and submit a draw request.
