Navigating the Dashboard

A tour of the main dashboard including project summary, phase progress, budget snapshot, and quick actions.

What the dashboard is

The dashboard is headed **Project Oversight**. Everything on it belongs to the **one project selected** in the sidebar — it never totals several projects together.

The cards you actually see

  • **Project Health** — a 0–100 housekeeping score with **View health details**
  • **Owner Insurance** — tick and upload Builder's Risk and General Liability
  • **Weather** — needs a project ZIP code
  • **Cash Required** — logged costs no draw has covered yet
  • **Unfunded Draw Requests** — net requested on prepared or legacy submitted draws not yet funded
  • **Revised Budget** — this project's current budget, matching the Budget page
  • **Logged for Next Draw** — the expenses waiting to be billed
  • **Risk Alerts** — owner insurance, budget overruns, vendor insurance
  • **Recent Activity** — the last ten expense and draw events
  • **Project To-Dos** — your own reminders

Holding a **banker** role shows a simpler **Lender Dashboard** instead.

What those two amounts mean

  • **Revised Budget** is the same calculation as the **Budget** page: quantity × unit price, sales tax, approved change orders and budget transfers, for the selected project only. **Open Budget** goes there.
  • **Unfunded Draw Requests** is the net amount — each draw's request less the retainage recorded on it — for requests that are **Packet Prepared** or **Submitted (Legacy)** and not yet marked funded. Drafts and funded draws are excluded. Preparing a packet does not confirm it reached your lender. **View Draw History** opens the full list.

What the health score is not

It measures OwnerDraw housekeeping: bids, waivers, vendor insurance, SOV mapping, draft draws and owner policies. It says nothing about build quality or schedule, and it is not lender approval. An empty project scores high because there is nothing yet to fail.

> TIP: On a new project every figure is $0 and the lists are empty. Start on **Budget** — nearly everything else reads from it.
