Completing Your Profile

Why a complete profile matters and what fields to fill in.

Reason: the live body asks readers to fill in **Full Name**, **Email** and **Phone Number** on the
Profile page and warns that banks verify them. Those fields do not exist, so the step cannot be
done as written. Apply at release; do not change the slug, title or URL.

There is no profile form to complete

Your OwnerDraw account is just an email address and a password. The **Profile** page (top-right menu
→ **Profile**) shows the address you are signed in as and lets you change your password. That is all
it does.

So there is nothing to fill in here before you start building.

What actually needs your details

The information banks and subs see comes from the records you create, not from an account profile:

**Project settings** — the build's name, address, loan amount, retainage and ZIP code.
**Vendor records** — each company's contact name, email and phone.
**Documents you generate** — the lender packet and draw request forms take what you enter.

Get those right and your paperwork reads correctly.

What to do first instead

1. Create your project, and complete its settings including the address and loan amount.
2. Enter your **Budget** line items.
3. Add the **Vendors** you are already talking to.
