Mode B: Draw Request Packet

How to create a draw request, what documents are auto-included, and the submission checklist.

This packet comes from Draw Requests, not Bank Ready

**Bank Ready** prepares the loan *application* packet. Once you have the loan and are building, each request for money is prepared on the **Draw Requests** page. Detailed steps live in *How to Use the Draw Requests Page*.

In short

1. Open **Draw Requests** and start a new request.
2. Choose the expenses to bill, or enter progress if your project bills by progress.
3. Select **Create Draw Draft**. This saves a draft — nothing is sent to your lender.
4. Review the gross amount, retainage and net payment.
5. Select **Create G702/G703** to build the packet. The stored request then shows as **Packet Prepared**.
6. Download the packet, then deliver it to your lender yourself.
7. When the money arrives, record it with **Mark as Funded**.

What the draw packet contains

• The AIA **G702** application and certificate for payment.
• The **G703** continuation sheet, broken down by line.
• The supporting detail OwnerDraw holds for that request.

What it does not do

• It does not send anything. Preparing a packet is not submitting it.
• Marking a draw funded does not mark any vendor paid. Vendor payment is recorded separately on the expense.
• Progress photos and inspection reports are not gathered into the packet automatically. Send those yourself if your lender wants them.

Never request more than the work actually completed.
