Dashboard Overview

The Allowances page gives you a complete picture of all your finish selections and their budget impact.

Key Elements

• **Summary Bar** — Total allowance budget, total selections made, overall variance
• **Category Cards** — Visual breakdown by category (flooring, lighting, etc.)
• **Progress Indicators** — How many allowances have selections chosen vs. still pending
• **Variance Alerts** — Warnings when selections exceed their budgeted amounts

Filtering and Sorting

Use the filters to view allowances by:
- Category (flooring, fixtures, appliances, etc.)
- Status (pending, selected, over budget)
- Room (kitchen, master bath, etc.)

> TIP: Review your allowance dashboard weekly during the selection phase. Catching overages early gives you more options to adjust.
