How to add product options with URLs, prices, quantities, and images for comparison.

Adding a Selection

1. Open an allowance from the Allowances page
2. Click **Add Selection**
3. Enter the **product name** and **vendor**
4. Enter the **price per unit** and **quantity**
5. Optionally paste a **product URL** for reference
6. Add **notes** about the product

Comparing Options

Add multiple selections to the same allowance to compare options side-by-side. Each selection shows:

• Product name and vendor
• Unit price and total cost
• Variance against the budgeted allowance amount

Choosing a Winner

When you've decided on a product, click **Choose This Selection** to mark it as your chosen option. This updates the variance display.

> TIP: Add at least 3 selections per allowance to ensure you're getting the best value. Include options at different price points so you can make informed trade-off decisions.
